There are way too many options when it comes to flooring, tiles, showers, soaking tubs, and even vanities, so you will want to consider all of them before you make your final decisions.
As you are creating, designing, and eventually planning your new bathroom remodel, we would like to share a few ideas that you may want to consider:
Tile
Tile is one of the best options for not only bathroom floors, but for the walls and even the ceiling. If you decide to choose a tile like marble, we recommend that you do use that material in all three of those areas to create the high-end look that you are trying to achieve.
Shower Enclosures
There are multiple options for enclosing a shower and it can be tricky to decide which is best for your space. We know that you are not going to want to choose a boring shower curtain that is going to continuously get in your way, because that does not scream oasis or spa in any way. However, you may want to consider an open shower that seamlessly flows with the rest of the room or a glass shower enclosure that covers part of the shower entrance. If you choose the glass enclosure, we recommend that you pick a glass that has a smoky tint instead of being clear, because it will give your space a more sophisticated feel.
Mirrors
A large mirror that goes from one wall to the other over a vanity can create an illusion that your bathroom is much larger than it is. While this is a great trick for those smaller bathrooms, we don’t see why someone with a larger bathroom couldn’t take advantage of their space looking bigger as well.
The Perfect View
Everyone needs a view from their bathroom and we are not talking about a teeny tiny window that is stuck in above your shower. No, we are talking about a large floor to ceiling window that you can look out of as you are showering or soaking in your bathtub. This window will bring a lot of natural light into this space and don’t worry, you won’t need to worry about anyone peeking in, because we can use glass that you can see out of but not in.
