Project scope:
This classic craftsman bungalow in Decatur was overdue for an expansion. The Renewal design team reconfigured the existing kitchen, rear entry hall and stair area, adding a laundry room and a spacious screened porch with a drive-under carport. At the end of the driveway they constructed an additional carport. The original dark, dated kitchen was transformed into a traditional chef’s kitchen with abundant natural light – all without adding square footage.
